I thought today, MOTHERS DAY, was the perfect time to share with you the image that you can see popping out of the background. Spring means a celebration of growth & the beautiful things in the world. Mother's Day is no exception.
I am in love with Cherry Blossoms now. This particular one was captured when one of my best friends was visiting CLT- which is so beautiful you sometimes forget you are in the midst of skyscrapers & the hustle and bustle of the city. Both before & after this picture was taken the breeze was "making it snow." That was so gorgeous to me - I have a love/hate relationship with real snow, so having it snow around me without the mess & hassle that comes with "real snow" was appreciated. This photo -shot by an a cellphone- does not give it the justice it deserves, yet it still is so beautiful in this picture.
So to all the "moms" out there -people who are biological moms as well as those who have extended their love in non-traditional ways- HAPPY MOTHERS DAY. Thank you for the beauty of life that you have given as well as the growth you have instilled in those who call you mom! (Love you & miss you Mom!)
